I have finished the last book in the Tiger Saga series and I have to say it was a good ending. It had some emotional moments that the others didn’t have. In fact for the last 20 or so pages I was basically crying for different reason! Not many books can make me cry but this one did, there was sad crying and happy crying. I think it might have been my favorite of the series, which again is rare for me to like the last book in a series more than the rest (take Hunger Games or the Divergent series, the last was the worst for me).
It started out that I was still hoping that Kelsey and Ren would end up together that I was tired of her shutting out her feelings for Red. That she would just keep having parts of a mission where she would have to admit her feelings for him and then would shut them away again. When she says yes to Kishan you can tell that she is having doubts but she still says yes. It really wasn’t fair to Kishan nor to Ren. Then when she is tricked into telling one of them how she is feeling I was like wait who was disguised as that person!
When Mr. Kadam dies I was heartbroken, he was such a great character and like a father to all of them. He knew what had to be done and it made it easier that he had seen a future that made him happy for them all so that was better but still it was so sad to see him go. I like that in this book Kelsey is less whiny about what she has to do, besides being torn between the boys even though she is clearly drawn to Ren.
I thought the book had a good amount of adventure and I thought the conclusion to everything was well done. I like how all of it kind of came full circle and that the stories they had read of Durga had somehow involved Kelsey and them as well. I thought the humor was still there which I always liked because it was like nice sarcastic banter. The romance was still there and the wedding at the end just had me tearing up with how sweet the vows were. The fact that they also got a letter from Kishan was great and it left a good feeling to how it ended. I thought Colleen Houck did a good job of rounding out the story and not leaving anything left unsaid like some book series do. I am sad to see it ending but I really enjoyed the series.
