This is the book I received in my January Owl Crate book box. Yes it is from January, but mind you I have 2 book boxes I get a month and books I find on my own so trying to keep up with all those and school and work and life it gets me behind, unfortunately because I would love to just be able to read and read. Anyway I was never a huge fan of the Bronte works themselves I have read them and they are alright, but just not my cup of tea. Now the movie with Keira Knightly of Pride and Prejudice I loved but I know those classic lovers out there are going to scoff at this :-).

Anyway on to the book. I thought it was a very interesting concept; being able to travel into your own stories you write. Can you imagine if you were able to do that?! Well minus the fact of the price you have to pay to Old Tom to do it, but if you didn’t that would be awesome! Each chapter was a different character but they still flowed together well. I like this because any Game of Thrones reader will know how confusing a chapter for each person can be when it isn’t in chronological order.

I did enjoy the story I thought it was interesting, it definitely wasn’t my favorite book but I am glad that I read it and that getting it in Owl Crate introduced me to it. Again it is different then what I usually read, and I like that, I like getting out of my box of what I typically read. It was a quick read and I like that because I get to read a book and then can start a new one. I thought the book was well written, I did not really feel much for the characters, like I did not connect with them, but I was entertained and was curious how the story was going to play out.
