Hey Everyone!
I am back! It has been a bit, had some tests for grad school so had to focus on that, but I have now had a chance to write a blog post! I got do to an interview with Kel O’Connor, the author of Broken Bits! She also agreed to do a giveaway of a copy of her book as well! So please enjoy the interview and enter the giveaway below! I will be picking a winner on Tuesday March 28th.
How did you come up with the idea for Broken Bits?
It actually started as a fanfiction about Lucas North from the British tv show M15. And while there are some similarities to Lucas, Mick turned out to be a much more interesting character.
What author(s) have inspired you to become a writer?
I started writing in elementary school- making up books for my younger sisters. But my favorite authors have always been Anne Stuart and Stephen King.
What was the hardest part of writing your book?
Just getting the first draft done! After that, it is much easier to edit.
If your book was turned into a movie who would you want to play the two main characters?
Richard Armitage and Hayley Atwell. I have the entire cast picked on my Pinterest page!

How many books do you see for this series? Are any of the others finished?
The next one is Amy’s story. Following that, the order will be Mateo, Archie and Del. I am hoping to have the next one out late 2017!
How long did it take you to write this book?
About 2 years because I have a full-time job in real life. I also volunteer too much!
What was your favorite part of writing this book?
Working with my critique partner, Abby Vegas and my editor Lauren Plude. Their excitement and ideas kept me motivated.
I want to say thank you to Kel for doing an interview with me, she is my first interview :-). I hope you all enjoyed it and will enter the giveaway so you can read her book! Remember to sign up to follow my posts to see when my next giveaway is and to read more book reviews!
My favorite book I read this year was and still is Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon :))
