The Heiress Gets A Duke (The Gilded Age Heiresses #1)
Rating: 4 ♥'s | I was instantly hooked from the beginning of this book. I love that August sneaks into a boxing match and that she kisses the main contender (aka The Duke!).
Rating: 4 ♥'s | I was instantly hooked from the beginning of this book. I love that August sneaks into a boxing match and that she kisses the main contender (aka The Duke!).
Rating: 4 ♥'s | The book takes off not too long after the first book. Amanda is still dealing with what is going to happen with her mom's murder trial. We don't see much of that because right away Amanda is put onto a case of another serial killer.
Rating: 4 ♥'s | This book picks up right after Veronica and Stoker's most adventure and it doesn't take them long to be pulled into another one...well for Veronica to pull them into another one.
Published: January 5, 2021 Genres: Fantasy, Young Adult Pages: 496 Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥ Nestled along the bluffs of the forested coast lies the secret kingdom of the Omte--a realm filled with wonder...and as many secrets. The Ever After closes the last trilogy of the long-running Trylle series. I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was excited to continue my journey with the Omte Trilogy and see how the series came to a close. I did enjoy the book, however it did not live up to my expectations of what I thought it was going to be. I felt that beginning drug on a bit and it could have been shortened and it would have given the reader just as much information. Some of it was actually kind of confusing trying to figure out what was happening and who all the different places and tribes were. Once I got past that part though it got better and I got more engaged in it. I especially liked the final battle scene where you get all these different monster described and I just was imagining them in my [...]
